What about this light? It is compact but will the max output be sufficient? Or will I need something larger with more batteries i.e. volts?
The runtime will be too short. Look for something that takes a 18650 battery.

The Solarforce L2 is another good choice. I'm very happy with mine. I'd go for the 5 mode 4.2v dropin.
