I disagree, the complexity of having a shifter running back there would be on par with the annoyance of having to carry around a 15mm to use a flip flop imo.
To each his own, but I mean, theres 3 speed fixed hubs now so, why not?

I ride a low gear (42x16) and don't feel the need to coast often, but there are a couple hills that will make my legs ache I spin so fast on them.
