I'm just not ready to accept that I'm going to be here for a while yet, you know? Yes, I'm going to paint the kitchen and that will be nice. The kitchen floor has cracking tiles and needs to be replaced, but I wouldn't spend $3500 on that job unless I knew we'd get it back at resale. I can live w/ cracked tiles for a while longer. With both my husband and myself out of work, we could end up having to move wherever my husband gets a job or we could both try to cobble together some contract work to keep us going here for a while which is starting to look more likely. My country-wide job search and application process has not even yielded a single interview. No, not even in CLEVELAND!!! yes that's right, Cleveland (no offense to anyone who lives there, I"m sure there are nice spots). So I'm on to plan B which is to try to pick up some social media director types of projects and maybe get a digital portfolio going so that in a few months I might have a better go of it on the national front.
