I've used an X-2 for several years now and for a stem, it's great. I can feel a difference between it and a 3T Arx Pro (feels like a noodle in comparison) - definitely stiff. Not super light though, but light enough - most stems seem to fall into a pretty close weight range anyway. That being said... it's still just a stem. Just don't over-tighten the faceplate bolts or you'll crack it (Thomson sells replacements).
