i did sew them together. The 180 was right at the break lever, but I could not get the leather to lie flat or be tight enough for my liking...
Couldn't you cut a really long continuous spiral up the legs, and get it all done in one piece?
as thrifty bill points out, i didn't want a thick seam every 8 inches or so.
Do you wear platform heal shoes when riding now?
Yes, I actually had the buy the shoes with the pants... it was a packaged deal! They are the ones with goldfish in the platforms (
