Whilst driving through the neighborhood on trash day looking for bikes, I spotted a metallic blue Univega frame next to a pile of rims. Stopped and talked to the owners who were more than happy to have me take it. The guy had bought it, rode around the block 2-3 times, and parked it for 20 years or so. The trouble came when his kid decided to "fix it up." The freewheel is destroyed, and the bike was shoved under the eaves and left to rot. Rot it did.

What do I have? This is a higher end bike. Shimano 600 components & sew-up tires. The rear wheel might be salvageable, but the front appears to be beyond hope. I'd like to sell it for project money on C-list. This bike is too good to be hacked into fixiedom. It's my size
