Does a trailer bike require the child to be able to balance on his own, or will I be able to hold him up? FWIW, I'm a very experienced cyclist (ex-racer & bike messenger) so I'm not concerned about being able to pull him along.
Thanks in advance!
Jason, look around the Lightfoot Cycles pages. They make a variety of cycle-like devices to accomodate a variety of disabilities. Especially look at the Trailer-Trike:

A couple in my club have a son who is pretty impaired (cerebral palsy, I think). They tow him around in a trailer, behind a recumbent triked with electric assist.
