My crash was in 2003 that screwed up my shoulder. For sure, I share your pain... I'll guarantee anyone I ride with, I'll be the last one down..If it's a straight descent with few switch backs , I am ok. But, give me tight switch backs , steep cliffs, and strong gusts; my group down below might as well stop at a coffee shop and wait out my descent. That is if they have the patience to wait it out..
My 2003 crash.. Going downhill at high speeds, I did not see a small rock in the road and down I went.. It was Sort of hard to make it down the rest of the mountain with one arm now useless just gripping onto the handlebar with zero muscleture..
