I Google mapped Intrepid Museum .org and took a walk around 12 avenue. Is it a good place to bicycle with what appears to be a bike lane along the docks? Street veiw was taken in the summer so I can only guess that it is a damp cold in the winter with ice?
Here it was -7 on the way in and with the increase in daylight I have removed my helmet light but still use the rear flashy thing.
Yes It's a good place to cycle though there are some car crossings. Have to be careful. Here, we have white bicycles to mark where somone got killed. There's one nearby. You can go the length of Manhattan on the bikepath.
I like to go up to the "George" George Washington Bridge, ride that and go up the Palisades back into New York State sometimes.
