F the bad roads. That D.A. rear wheel came in and I couldn't resist. I mounted it up to see how the bike would ride with the new wheels.
Problem solved. The CF in those rims really does take the edge off that Addict frame stiffness. Today's ride had long climbs, nasty chip/seal potholed roads, the works. The Scott was FINE. I liked it. It's a half pound lighter with those DA CF/alu wheels. I had the Contis jacked up to 120 lbs as always. Not a problem.
