For me the main advantage would be the apex rear derailleur for the increased tooth capacity. Depending on price difference, I will go rival or apex for the shifters. But if the internal mechanisms are the same, you only save about 30 grams going to rival for the shifters. I might consider force if I could find it cheap enough for the supposedly smoother shifting (the only SRAM road groups I've ridden are old and new rival).

All depends on prices when I buy.
