I thought people prefer MTB style (and double sided) pedals for urban riding. You are gonna need to clip-in with cars waiting around you honking and stuff. You don't wanna wait till next rotation to clip-in when you miss. Plus, road cleats are big and wide to improve pedalling efficiency, too chunky for looks and walking.
