I really like what you did with the Colnago... the stock paint detracts from the workmanship on the frame and have seen a few of these up close to tell this.
That is a beautiful classic look.
Got my shop unpacked today and started setting out parts for the '54 raleigh... have some NOS Dia Compe brakes and drilled levers, a nice GB stem to perfect the reach, and a few shiny new handlebars to replace that battered up stem and bars (which are also way too narrow).
I am not attached to the stock brake levers and brakes since they were not original to the Sports and since the bike is going to see regular use it needs to be functional.
And one cannnot install shiny new brakes on such a beat up frame so it will be going off to the powdercoaters with the GF's Peugeot to be done up in dark teal.
It might take all summer to do this but it will be worth it.
