Wow... I just re-read my own post and noticed the crazy amount of grammar mistakes. I must've been so pissed that just thinking about the incident was enough to muddle my grammar.
Anyhow today I came across a similar situation. However this time the dog owner really is THE OWNER. He saw me coming. Dog was wandering way ahead. Owner yelled "Sit! Sit!". The dog just sat while I rode past.
