the bridge at Farnell, a village a couple of miles further on. They used to restore old Jaguar cars there. Would see a Jag in front of most of the houses.

I biked to froickheim. seen a fire engine with flashing lights. I followed it

I seen a fireman with a blue thing in his hands. I thought it was a bucket. I went away and seen another man with a blue bag with a takeaway meal in it. So maybe the fireman was rushing home before his curry got cold.
I went to the pub. I showed the barmaid the pic. She says that those white houses are a rough area. And theres often fire and police being called there.
I left there around 7pm. I fitted my lights. But the front was a bit dim. So I tried to angle the light. But it broke off the bracket. I put the bike on the pavement. Found the bit. Then looked at the bike. The rear light had snapped off its bracket. I picked it up and smashed it. I walked home the 5 miles. It was really dark, and the road was busy for a sunday night.
