From: 6 miles inland from the coast of Sussex, in the South East of England

Wet ride and wash off with a Hose after cleaning the chain with a cleaning device.

Off with the wheels and clean them. Check Brake blocks for grit etc and then out comes the lube. Release the outers of the cables and wash through with wd40 and then lube the inners. Then lube brake pivot points and deraillers. Then wipe clean and put the wheels back on and lube the chain.

But that would have to be after a really wet and grimy ride. Normally it is just wash off the chain and relube.
