Sure many times since both began sharing the road. Just do a Google search. Here's a story about one such accident from a 1914 NY Times article--5 people in a chauffeur driven tour car where killed when the chauffeur swerved to avoid hitting a cyclist turning in front of the car and hit a pole. http://query.nytimes.com/mem/archive...6E9C946596D6CF More recently, last summer, the driver of a Ferrari swerved off road and into a lake to avoid hitting a child on a bicycle. http://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-new...y-ar76607.html There are many other such articles, including some in newspapers that don't have older stories indexed to online databases. I'm tired of the "us vs. them" mentality. We all have foibles and faults. Humans riding bicycles can and do do stupid, if not downright illegal, things just like humans driving cars.
