I suggest you get one of the following:

A frame pump with a hose so that you put no stress on the valve stem when you pump the tire.

or

A CO2 inflator and several CO2 cartridges.

Each of these has advantages and disadvantages, though frame pump advocates would insist that option has zero disadvantages (and they may be right).
