saddles and body weight

as I was perusing the saddle pages in the Performance catalog that I got in the mail yesterday it occurred to me that with all the STATs of these saddles there is no mention of rider body weight. and it also occurred to me that saddles would respond differently if the rider was 145 lbs or 225 lbs and of course if the rider was 250+ lbs.

when I observe the flex in my saddle when I squeeze it with my hand - the more I squeeze it the more it flexes, so the heavier rider gets more of a flex and the lighter rider gets less flexing.

it might seem intuitive that the heavier rider would appreciate for flexing but does anyone else think that a lighter rider might appreciate flexing as well?

or do you light riders have so little pressure on your butts that having the saddle flex is not a concern?

I would think that the designers might make saddles in different weight classes, in addition to widths. when I was measured for my saddle, the fitter didn't ask my body weight.
