Hello--

My wife and I ride old Raleigh 3-speeds, so I usually hang out in the C&V forum. I purchased a used Trek child trailer off my local craigslist, but I have trouble getting the hitch tight on the Raleighs, as it needs to fit over the drop out, and the fender stays get in the way.

I was advised to replace the hitch with a Burley "Classic" hitch, as it fits in the area in front of the dropout. I've looked at pictures, but no one I've asked seems to know if it will work with a Raleigh.

Does anyone have this hitch? How does it work? Will it work with an old 3-speed?
