It's really disconcerting to get hung up on your saddle nose. If you can afford it, try Assos and GBW. These are both great brands, they both have Assos-proprietary Cytech-mfrd EIT pads. A local dealer (selling cheaper shorts), told me two pairs of shorts are good, one hold onto the saddle, the other holds onto your butt. Yes, that works. But if you pony up the bucks for really good shorts, one will work fine. Assos is, F*** this is good. GBW is s*** this is comfy.. You ride,your legs give out. Your inner butt feels fine. "I can take more, you stupid weenie thighs, you wimps." That is a good short.
