That's true. But what's funny to me is that cyclists who will talk about the "feel" and "damping" characteristics of different
frame materials will poo-poo the increased comfort you get from fatter tires. The fact of the matter is that you could take the stiffest aluminum frame you could find and put some nice 28c tires on it and it would be
worlds more comfortable than a really compliant steel frame running 21c tires at 120 PSI.
