Glad to see you are back riding- but remember that after such a serious injury- you are going to feel it.
NO mountain climbs or 100 milers for a while so just ease back into things gently.
After a 6 months lay off in which I did manage to do some exercise- I did a 40 miler. Ride was fine and took in a couple of very steep slopes and at the end I was elated. Then sat down- changed the shoes and stood up. Never knew what shin splints were till that time. They hurt.
