That's actually a good idea. Lots of MTB guys who use risers cut them too you know...not just "tarck hipsters". It makes cutting to the right length easy.
Is the little bullseye on some bars to help you center them in your stem is a silly idea too?
i was referring to the cap -> helmet, not the measurement. that's obviously helpful (and has been done for a while) i just thought it was funny how they chose to represent the different lengths.
