I took a personal necessity day last Tues when we thought my wife miscarried, and a sick day the week before when I had chest pain (turned out to be anxiety. I wonder why. Having a baby, trying to buy a house, and wondering if my work will be sold to a private company all at the same time shouldn't be that stressful, should it?)

It will just have to be like last weekend. I'll sigh, throw on my old beater wheels, ride no matter what the weather throws my way, and spend an hour cleaning and lubing my bike in hopes of a better weekend next week.

I'm surprised the east coasters haven't told me to STFU or at least HTFU yet.
