Hey Ritz, I don't mean to be, "all gloom and doom." I do have emotional peaks and valleys. I think the ride I did this weekend with BowWow from bikejournal has me doubting my perceived progress. He walked away from me on even the smallest of hills. Not to mention getting to see myself in riding position in his photos.
Are you sure you still need to lose weight? I remember the before/after photos you posted a while back (the "2000 mile effect") and you looked quite trim in the after photo!!

P.S. CONGRATS on hitting 1100 miles already. That's impressive!
Howdy G.S. Yep. I'm sure I still need to loose weight. My doctor tells me so. The photo evidence also makes it very clear. I'm not trying to become the next Mike Magnuson, but I do want to look good as well as feel good on the bike.
I'm not giving up. Just venting some frustration to hopefully free it from my mind so I may better re-focus my efforts. I'm still enjoying being out on my bike. That won't change.
How can you not love riding through such incredible scenery?
