The advantage of this one is that it saves you the expense and hassle of converting a 10-speed to a single-speed. If you bought a cheap 10-speed like the GP and converted it, it would probably run you close to $200. The disadvantage with this one is that you won't have the parts to convert it back. Like Thrifty Bill, I would personally go fo a chrome-moly frame bike, which can be found quite cheaply, and convert it myself. But if you're not a mechanic, then this one looks alright to me.
