Why don't you first identify the extant of motorists and who make these "demands" outside of the relative handful of of wackos who spend their time scrawling nut case letters to the editor or nut case comments on the Internet? Works like this... yup you are right... it is the "local nutcases.**" But those local nutcases are just expressing the same thoughts that the silent majority of motorists are thinking... at least those that shout at me from their car windows... or perhaps they ARE the local nutcases... in which case I want to know how they are stalking me. bikers don't pay road taxes" from loads of folks. All I have to do is suggest that cyclists have rights to use the road... bam! and out it comes pouring.
