Swung by the hospital to see him in ICU today. His spirits are high and he says he can ride the trainer in 2-3 months. He's already motivated for next year. The kid is lucky to be alive, his Dad showed me picks of their Suburban...yikes. His Felt is finished, broken in 3 places (it was in the back). Oh, and Garmin called him today and told him they'd resign him for next season, just concentrate on getting well. Nice move. He was also stoked when I told him there was a pic of him on TXBRA with British National Champion Kristian House, Wenger. etc when they were in a break during Lago Vista.
