Really? Because I have to travel quite a ways to get to roads with more than one lane in each direction. Excluding the expressway about 7 miles away, I don't think there are any within 30 miles of me. I'm sure that the VAST, VAST majority of roads in Michigan are one lane in each direction. Sure, when you get inside larger cities many of the roads have two lanes in each direction, but that's a small fraction of the roads. Personally I don't think I drive or ride on a road with 2 lanes in each direction more than once a month or so.
