Dirt drops are great. Many hand positions, great for climbing and singletrack. I have mine set up more like a crossbike so I can ride the hoods as well as in the drops (where they are ment to be riden). Love them.
What handlebars do you have? And what is their width? And. uh... where is their width actually measured? I was thinking of getting the Salsa Woodchippers, but they come in 42 and 46 cm widths, and I feel that's a bit narrow for me. I've seen WTB (I think) with this kind of drops, and 60 cm wide, which is much better, but also theirs are twice as expensive.
