Campagnolo “No Record” high flange hubs
I've been somewhat casually searching for a set of Campagnolo Record high-flange hubs, and recently bought a used rear that appears to be one of those “No Record” ones -- with the sun logo bisected by “Campagnolo” but no “RECORD” beneath. The little research I did on it suggests that these are of pre-1963 date. Are there any other differences between them and the later Record high-flanges?
There seems to be some mystique about these, probably lost on me; I'd like to end up with a matched high-flange pair, but I'm not terribly fastidious about such things, and I don't have any bikes of the early 60s variety that cry out for a pre-1963 hub. Will I be waiting forever, and paying an arm and a leg to find a 32H or 36H front to match?
