it's the fact that the lever is on the top and the only place to grab the top of those bars is curved. i personally would not want to grab that curved portion for extended periods.
basically i just think the shape of those bars is stupid
i NEVER ride on the tops of my bars so it would really be no different. ive only needed the brake for one emergency stop but i found it very fast despite being on the "front" of the bars
