I hope that's true, but there are an awful lot of expensive bikes hanging on garage walls around the continent owned by people who got swept away by enthusiasm but then lost interest. Don't be so quick to dismiss the Craig's list "junk". If you pay $200 and don't end up riding it, you're a genius compared to the person who spends $1500 and doesn't end up riding it.
