I have the Wald 962s in black powder coat and they cover my Fat Franks (2.3") just fine. I had to fab notches at both the fork and the seat stays for them to fit. This is on the '91 Rockhopper that I am "retroveloing" FWIW.

They are very similar if not identical to those on the Retrovelos above. Also...they are nice and inexpensive.
