Ha, another "I think I'm a poseur" thread! But hey you spelled poseur right, you're ahead of the game already!
This is my take on the whole posenger thing and it still stands

So actually the only thing that could qualify as a "posenger" would be someone that adopts the style but then also rides around a city 10 hours a day from building to building pretending to drop off and pick up packages...none of you do that do you?
As for beer, I've sure drunk my fair share of PBR...in Seattle I even drank enough to get (really)drunk and with the low alcohol content it's got that's a task! I vaguely remember saying goodnight to some people sitting on the curb outside the party then turning around to some cops and loudly asking "Hey's where's za exit? where's za door outta here?" They laughed and politely pointed out that I was already outside and graciously allowed me to stumble on my way and since I was sleeping in an old VW van parked nearby we didn't have far to stumble.
I prefer Guinness and no messengers have ever knocked me for that, at least not when I'm drinking with them which is rarely these days, too busy.
So you're in Portland? You should go to the NACCC to be happening soon! You'll likely have to pay to party without a racer number and they may have a few private parties but many parties are fairly openish and it's always fun to watch the races/events and look at the sweet eye candy rides that show up.
I'd be there but I'm getting married that weekend, an excellent reason for us to miss a big race that we've made it too for several years now!
