I purchased a 2010 Specialized Rockhopper Comp Disc in November and a couple weeks ago started to get a popping noise out of the rear hub so I too it to the LBS that I bought it from. They said the bearings were bad and replaced both hubs and rims. There was an issue getting a replacement rear hub so that is why they replaced everything to match. My questions is are the stout hubs a better one than the Hi Lo hub they come with from the factory?
