I would advise all owners of '08 CFRs to change out the stock fork; the alloy steerer is HEAVY (I saved 250-300g probably) and really doesn't do a good job of damping road vibrations. Best $100 I've spent on my bike.
I thought that thing might be a bit of an anchor. I'm not sure I'm enough of a weight weenie to want to swap it out though.
