Thought: Grr. Sounds like it came with the wrong seatpost already.

I'm assuming that this isn't your first bike since puberty and that you know how high you should be sitting anyway, so I can't quickly proclaim, "Dude, you can't be sitting on it with your feet flat on the ground."

What I'm curious about is the actual difference in length. How long is yours, and how much shorter is the short post -- did CC have that info?

Advice (ha.. right): Make them take back the post and trade it. They can stick it in a demo frame if they want. Whether BMC or CC eats the cost, I don't care.
