Yeah, the early 105 and RX100 triple cranks and triple-capable derailleurs are pretty rare. I took a while for "low-geared" road bikes to take hold in the marketplace... or maybe we all got old and slow. I forget.

I have a bike with an early 105 triple rear, 180mm XT cranks with larger chainrings, and bar-end shifters:
