I just got a 2009 Giant Defy Three and anyways I need to get pedals and shoes for it. I tried searching the forum for Topic like this but didn't find anything specific. I'm thinking about getting Shimano 105 PD 5610 clipless Pedals.

Questions:

1. Do you have to get shimano shoes as well or is there some kind of limit to what shoes you can get?

2. Will the pedals fit any crankset?

3. What are some of the best low to mid-range shoes you can buy ie. $100-120 CAN
