If you can get that bike with SRAM Red components for a grand, you are getting an unbelievable deal. I'm relatively new to this sport but I'll tell you one thing I've learned about choosing a bike. Get one that fits you properly and is set up comfortably for you. Even a great bike for a really good deal is going to be a painful ride if it is the wrong bike for you.
I made some adjustments to my bike after reading an article in a bike magazine. Raised the seat a bit, moved back the cleats on my shoes a bit, lowered the stem a lot, pushed back the seat a bit...etc. It was the worst thing I have ever done! I went out for a long ride, >40 miles and was in pain for days. Went back to the shop and they "fixed" my improper fit and I couldn't believe how much more power I had! I can't tell you which bike is right for you, or what your proper size and fit are but I've learned these things are more important at this stage of your cycling hobby than anything. Good luck!
