After checking with the weather channel I made a change in my normal route to work this morning. The wind was gusting from the east at 63 kilometers per hour and to get to my destination I have to travel northwest. The different route keeps the wind on my right side for half the distance but for the final run to my work place the wind was on my back. Wow, did I fly! I felt like a little kid, I couldn't stop smiling, it was great! Felt pretty good at work, changed, unlocked the side door for the employees, turned on the lights and the heat, (still only 4 degrees). And to my surprise who should come through the side door with his bicycle but my brother. Now I do not lecture on the benefits of cycling to anybody but from time to time I catch my brother looking at my bike when he thinks no one is watching. I hope this becomes as regular for him as it is for me.
