There seem to be a lot of 72 and 73 Paramounts with 77 and later decals. I've encountered a couple and I even owned one myself. It seems hard to believe that that many people mucked their Paramounts up in their first few years of ownership to the extent that they had to send it back to Schwinn for expensive repaints. I wonder if there might have been some overlap between decal sets.
