Cool but not cold with temps in the mid 40's, I wore a short sleeved shirt, light jacket, and shorts this morning and was comfortable. What started as a moderately heavy mist turned into a light shower just after starting out. The Potomac is running high with all the recent rain and snow melt; some parts of the MV Trail are flooded or covered with debris. Four Mile Run, as it passes under Rt. 1, is most notable as the water will nearly reach your bottom bracket and, right after passing under the 14th Street Bridge (heading north), the trail is covered with litter: branches, sticks, bottles, cups, etc-rideable but, be careful. Other than wet shoes I really enjoyed my ride in, my legs felt stronger than they have in weeks. It looks like the rest of the week will be a big improvement over today.
