Our basement's flooded; the sump pump's working, but it's largely ineffectual, since the outflow line terminates in a spout just outside the basement window. (A bit of "circular reasoning" on the part of the contractors who installed it.)

The ride in was enjoyable, since the storm's 25mph winds were right on my back.
