yes, i just got the serial number and it is a 1974 model, going by sheldon browns site. so, do i have to use drop bolts if i go to campy side pulls and put on 700c? if thats the case, it think i might take rhm's advice and leave em. they are pretty heavy wheels. i think if i had the hubs relaced with some nice 700 c silver rims, it would just make the bike better in every way. these did come originally with 700c sew ups, as opposed to the touring paramounts that came with 27 in rims.
