but that's not the point. one material literally has a "bend but not brake quality" to it, while the other will just outright fail. the force one can place upon a given material before it's compromised is not the question, but how that material reacts. Regardless of how much abuse it can take, I'd rather have a fork capable of bending before breaking, than a fork that will just snap.
