I'm going to derail this....figure this thread was being civil so I could get away with it without being flamed too badly.

I *gulp* wear headphones when I ride. I mostly ride on the trails, but I can't avoid the streets entirely, and sometimes ride on the streets. I listen to them really low, as in sometimes I can barely hear the music when I am riding. I guess this is not such the good behavior?
