Yes, I wear a helmet and I've learned fancy riding clothes are more comfortable. I also prefer to ride responsibly and appear to the cage drivers that I take some effort and pride in riding a bicycle so that I'm not mistaken for the other folks riding around in street clothes without helmets who are pegged as characters who've lost their driver's licenses and a bicycle is their only way to get around from a to b.
